Cowboys Defensive Lineman Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away at Age 24

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland has died at the age of 24.
Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the draft in 2024 and played 18 times for the team, with four starting appearances.
He scored his first touchdown in the Tuesday game to the Arizona Cardinals when he retrieved a blocked punt.
"He was a cherished team member and member of our organisation," the Dallas Cowboys said.
"We send our condolences regarding Marshawn are with his partner Catalina and his loved ones."
Kneeland was selected by Dallas with the 56th selection of the 2024 draft after his college career for Western Michigan.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart breaks" for the passing of a player who "poured his heart" into each opportunity.
"I saw him strive his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a goal to being a esteemed pro for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL stated it is "deeply saddened" by the news.
