Loyal fans of the actress are calling for that a person who breached a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the Australian man bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade surrounded by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was set to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram profile features clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Many followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more response on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others called for digital services to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Numerous of supporters had gathered in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had queued for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The movie, to be premiered on November 21, is the sequel of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of the previous year in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, securing a pair for best costume and artistic direction.
