Unbowed Celtic's manager does not fear dismissal however the Parkhead faithful show anger after defeat.
The Celtic boss stated he did not fear the sack, claiming, “I believe we are very near to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a convincing loss to Rangers.
A Second-Half Meltdown Results in Old Firm Defeat
The home side were in front their oldest rivals at the break but a second-half capitulation allowed Danny Röhl’s team to pull level on points with the defending league title holders. The former MLS manager, who was hired from Columbus Crew, has now presided over six losses in eight games.

Nancy remains focused on the fact his team can perform strongly for one half at a time. For instance, if not for poor finishing they would have been better than 1-0 up. “I saw enough aside from the fact that we haven’t scored our chances,” he said. “I accept that we lost, but it's important to stay balanced.
“The standard we had at times was really, really, really high. That is a fact. I could not speak so positively if it was untrue. But that’s why, when it comes to wins, I mentioned we've seen this before. Which is why I said that we are really close to getting it right. Right now: the fine margins.”
“There were many, many good things that we did, once more. However comes down to consistency. My narrative would change if I didn't believe it. Therefore I am convinced we will manage to fix this.”
Röhl’s Cautious Outlook
Danny Röhl was cautious about a serious challenge even after what seemed like a huge result. “Step by step, and we can gradually build momentum,” he said. “The belief in the team is excellent.”
